From the Principal on Academics

Dear Families and Friends,

Welcome to Saint John Paul II Catholic School. We are proud to offer a rigorous and dynamic academic program. Like all Catholic schools in the Diocese of St. Petersburg, we utilize the Florida Core Standards and Next Generation Standards infused with our Catholic identity.  Across all grades levels, we continuously surpass the expectations of the Core and Next Generation Standards. We are sensitive to the unique needs of each individual student as we pursue the paramount goal of education: instilling a love of learning in a Christ-centered environment.

We are proud of the continued success of our students upon graduating from Saint John Paul II. Our graduates are welcomed to a wide array of high schools including Trinity Catholic High School, the Lecanto High School IB Program, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School and other local high schools.  When in high school, our students are frequently enrolled in honors and advanced placement courses.
