Accreditation

Saint John Paul II Catholic School is fully accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference Accreditation Program (FCCAP).  Established in the 1969-1970 school year, the Florida Catholic Conference Accreditation Program (FCCAP) is known as one of the earliest and finest programs of its type in the nation.

Every seven years, Catholic elementary and middle schools in our Diocese are re-accredited to ensure that they are providing the best environment possible for academic growth and faith development.

The FCCAP accredits 180 schools in Florida and Georgia. The FCCAP is a charter member of the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA, www.ncpsa.org). The NCPSA provides third-party oversight as a national and international accrediting body in reviewing the FCCAP. The FCCAP is an accrediting member of FAANS (Florida Association of Academic Nonpublic Schools). “FCCAP has established a system for accountability and school improvement through the adoption of 90-plus educational standards and our repeating “Seven-Year Cycle” of accreditation events. Through accountability to standards for beliefs and mission, personnel, program of learning, etc., FCCAP-accredited schools meet a baseline for excellence in providing education.
