Volunteering

To volunteer in any capacity with students, you are required to take safe environment training and participate in fingerprinting/background check.

The Safe Environment Training is an online class offered through the Diocese of St Petersburg.  It is a go at your own pace program, offered in short videos.  Here are a copy links:

Once you create an account, you will be able to login and see the different classes offered.  You need to complete the one called “Safe Environment Training“.  Once that is complete you will get a certificate.  At the end of that program, you can then schedule your fingerprinting/background check.

That is completed at the school.  The cost $55 and it is good for 5 years.  You will schedule the appointment at the end of the Safe Environment Training.

Please do not show up at the school for fingerprinting/background check without an appointment.  You must be in the system for us to perform this service.  Please bring your driver’s license and a printed out copy of your scheduled appointment (it has a code on it we need).
